We have three luxury Cabins just for two – Kingfisher Cabin overlooks the water, whilst Cherry Tree Cabin and Hawthorn Cabin are our Cabins in the Woods overlooking the water meadow. Spoil yourself and enjoy a very special glamping experience!

Kingfisher Cabin
Kingfisher Cabin has a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and sitting room with wood burner and a plentiful supply of logs. There is a CD player, a DVD player with a varied selection of DVDs, and a radio – but no television or wifi – leave the world behind for a little while … The cosy bedroom has a small but comfortable double bed, and has cupboard and hanging space. There is an electric shower and modern flush toilet; everything you could need as you while away a few days in this delightful retreat. ‘Due to the Covid situation we now ask guests to bring their own bedding - pillows, duvet and towels’

Upon arrival you will find a food hamper waiting for you, the best of the basics and a couple of little luxuries – just to keep the wolf from the door till you can tear yourself away to go shopping …

Cherry Tree Cabin
Cherry Tree Cabin is our Cabin in the Woods for two – a small, beautifully furnished log cabin situated at the edge of the wood, with lovely views over the adjoining water meadow. Comfy beds with Hypnos mattresses, a couple of easy chairs and plenty of storage and hanging space make it a cosy glamping experience in a superb position. There is a small electric fire for chilly evenings, but no electric points for other use. Lighting is by candles and solar lights.

Enjoy the views from the veranda with the table and chairs and wooden sit-out chairs. There is a handy outdoor kitchen with gas rings and storage cupboards, saucepans, crockery and cutlery.

Hawthorn Cabin

Hawthorn is our newest cabin. It is a beautifully hand crafted, oak wood cabin built by Larry and Jonno during the Winter of the 2020/21 lockdown.

Like our other cabins it is just for two, and has lovely views over the water meadow. There is a sheltered outdoor kitchen as well as a fire pit and barbecue for romantic evenings under the stars.

As with Cherry Tree cabin you have use of the 5-star campsite washrooms just a few steps away, as well as the fridge and freezer nearby in the Elephant Shed. The comfortable divan beds can be configured as two singles or a double for couples or friends. Cosy up by the little wood burning stove on chilly evenings, and cool down under the low energy fan on hot Summer days!

Out and About

Spend time in the Newbourne Springs nature reserve, visit Newbourne Fox for a pint or for dinner, sunbathe on Felixstowe Beach or shop in the local market town of Woodbridge. The river Deben is nearby at Waldringfield as well as many beautiful villages and local attractions. Perfect for a day out at Minsmere, just thirty minutes away by car. Bring your bike and cycle the local lanes. Hire a canoe or a kayak at Iken. Or if you just want to relax, enjoy the countryside and walk the paths, fields and hedgerows of Newbourne, Bucklesham and Waldringfield.
