About The Fludyers Hotel

Built in 1903, The Fludyers Hotel is landmark venue and has welcomed guests since Felixstowe’s days as a fashionable Edwardian seaside destination. Today you’ll find a welcoming pub offering up a range of real ales and fine bar snacks.

Our fantastic restaurant is set in a delightful panelled room with sea views and serves our head chef's modern interpretation of British classics with a choice of traditional roasts on a Sunday.

We also have a fabulous heated outdoor terrace, perfect for those leisurely sunny afternoons and long summer evenings – oh, and did we mention the views?

If you are staying over, we have 12 rooms, plus a mews suite and accessible mews room, all furnished in contemporary style and feature Samsung flatscreens and walk-in showers. Our hand-stitched beds – all superking or kingsize – are dressed with feather-and-down bedding, while most rooms boast stunning views.

All our rooms offer a chic, contemporary palette. The more style-conscious visitor will spot Lloyd Loom furniture, ergonomic designer desk chairs and mirrors handmade from local driftwood. You’ll also find Eco-boutique toiletries, made with organic and natural extracts.

We kit out every room with proper tea and coffee-making facilities. Take your pick from award-winning Newby teas or cafetière coffee – both come with cookies to dunk. And do help yourself to as much purified water as you like.
