The Suffolk Broads is part of the Broads National Park - one of Britain’s National Parks and Conservation Areas. It is one of the largest protected areas of wetland with outstanding natural beauty, large open shallow broads linked by rivers and navigable waterways with surrounding reed beds and marshes. It is truly a beautiful place with a wide variety of wildlife and breath-taking scenery that is waiting for you to on the Suffolk Broads.
Suffolk also boasts the picturesque Suffolk Heritage Coast which spans from Corton near Lowestoft through Kessingland, Southwold and Hollesley down to Felixstowe. Take The Suffolk Coast Path, a footpath stretching 50 miles (80km) of beautiful scenery. Along this path, you’ll walk through Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve via Felixstowe, Bawdsey, Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, North Warren, Thorpeness, Minsmere, Dunwich, Southwold and Kessingland to Lowestoft.
